About Me/ Company
I am 18 years old, currently studying at West Lancashire College so my hours have to fit around that. I absolutely adore dogs and I havehad them all of my life, at the moment I have a 10 year old white Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Kiara and she is treated like royalty in our house. She is a loving dog who wouldn't hurt a fly and she is my best friend as far as I'm concerned. I love giving her cuddles and taking her out to burn off energy, I would literally do anything for my dog and I have always been this way. She is as much a part of the family to me as any human and I expect people visiting to treat her with the same respect and affection she gets off everybody at home- I am a firm believer that every dog should be treated the same by everybody and always feel included and loved.
Previous Experience
In all honesty I only have experience with dogs from the family, I have minded my own dog and house whilst my Mum went away for a week when I was 16, and since then I have minded my Grandad's house and dog- a Bichon Freese- numerous times for 1 or 2 weeks on seperate occasions. I can offer a number for both owners so you can get real references for me and a general idea of who I am. I like to make sure that the dog is well walked and has burned off all that excess energy that could be used elsewhere to get up to mischief. When minding the dogs and houses I just basically lived with the dogs for that time except when I had to go out for College, and walked them once every day for a good 40 minutes- I made sure they always had food and water, toys to keep them occupied and I made sure I paid them enough attention and played with them so they could feel loved and not deserted as their owners where away.
