About Me/ Company

I am tenacious, attentive, organised and like to keep busy. I want to work in this area as I am passionate about this type of work. I believe strongly in helping and caring for animals plus working for a company that supports animal welfare. My belief behind this purpose drives me to want to do this type of work. I have experience of working with a range of animals and also with the public in customer service roles.

Personal Profile

I am hardworking and like to keep busy and am looking to obtain employment in a animal care environment. I want to work in this area as this is where my passion and heart lies. I believe strongly in caring for and helping animals, any field which enables me to show my emotion is suitable. I have been looking to find employment in this type of work for awhile, undertaking lots of volunteering and an animal care qualification. This type of work is what I want to do in my future, to what I consider my natural vocation. My enthusiasm drives me to continue to seek employment. I am greatly interested in supporting foundations and charities which work towards the prevention of cruelty to animals. It is not about the money for me, animals are a great interest of mine, however to one day gain a career doing something I love would be wonderful. I am a polite individual who will undertake any task whilst working in a animal care role. I am a perfectionist and like to carry out duties accurately in a timely manner. Being observant and intuitive I can pick up on animals needs and requirements and provide a comfortable, professional experience. I am friendly, kind and approachable, with brilliant caring skills. I can work in a team and on my own whilst problem solving. I am ambitious, with a self motivated and determined attitude with the ability to communicate well. I put effort into training to ensure I learn successfully, interested to undertake additional qualifications and always up for a challenge.

Previous Experience

I have most to date volunteered at Pleasure Island Family Theme Park as a Farm Hand Assistant within Furry Friends Farm from May 2013 to August 2013, before this I helped out within the sea lion and parrot production from February 2013 to March 2013. From December 2011 to November 2012 I volunteered as a Cattery Maid at Cuddles Cattery Rescue Centre/Cuddles Cat Rescue, Groomer at Weelsby Park Riding School and General Stable Hand at Cottager's Plot Equestrian Centre.

Qualifications & Training

I hold an animal care qualification as I have completed a Level 2 City and Guilds Extended Certificate in Animal Care at Bishop Burton College from September 2010 to June 2011. I have also undertaken a Level 2 BTEC Certificate in Customer Service.

Relevant Info

I exercise at Cleethorpes Leisure Centre. I am interested in supporting foundations which prevent cruelty to animals, and I am very passionate about this. I undertake animal care whilst looking after my pets in my spare time.
