About Me/ Company
Hi! My name is Isabel, I am 24 years old, I am from Spain, but I moved to London in July 2014. I am pastry chef, but my passion are the animals! I just started a job as a dog walker here in London. But I would like to spend more time with animals in my free time!
Previous Experience
I had my first dog when I was 7 years old, she was a beautiful Yorkshire, called Nala, she died 3 years ago, but she had really happy life with us! Then I got Layka, someone abandon some puppies in the street, my aunt took them and feed them, and we felt in love with them, so had to adopt one! She is around 8 kilos, and the size of a cat. She is my little princess as she lives in our house and everyone spoil her! She is 10 years old now. Then, my mother and her partner, have a countryside house and a neighbour was giving Labrador puppies, so we took one! She is the most intelligent dog I know, she watches TV, open doors, and does all the tricks! And the last, my beautiful Linda, she was a straight dog, my mother's partner found on the street, she was really skinny but not for her breed (she is half greyhound). And people around said she was living in the area for months... (but noone helped her....). So he took her to the vet, and after they checked she didn't have a chip, we decided to adopt her! So that is my dog family, I love them, and I miss them everyday! I would like to spend my day with animals, because is the best job I could have. I have experience with really tiny dogs (yorkshire), normal, and big dogs, so the size is not a problem, I love them the same!
Qualifications & Training
My experience isn't proffesional. But I got a lot of personal experience. I know how is the love for pets, and I know better than anyone how I would like people treat my pets. I just started as a dog walker in a company, and I am willing to learn fast!
I have a lot of experience giving bath to my dogs, and each one is different, the little one hates it, so I finish more wet than her! The Labrador really loves the water, so it is impossible to bath the others when shes around, because she jumps on the bath! And the greyhound is just so energetic, every time I shower her, she start to run and rub her back with everything! So I have to keep her inside the room and dry before she leaves or she will be dirty again.
I got a Yorkshire before, she was sick with heart problems, so we had to give her pills, she reject them always, so I had to learn really good to hide the pills, I think that is an important skill!
My little princess Layka doesn't like other dogs, now I teach her to stay relax when other dogs are around, but she still want to be the only one! So I don't have problems with shy dogs, as I share my life with one for 10 years!
