About Me/ Company

Professional animal care and dog walking service.

Indypets is a recently established (2012) dog walking and pet care business set up by an animal lover living in Leatherhead, Surrey.

The big advantage of using Indypets is my animal care experience and qualification. I studied for two years for a Level 3 Btec Extended Diploma in Animal Management at Merristwood College, so you can feel safe and reassured in having a qualified person looking after your pets. The course included animal health, nutrition and first aid, aquatics, exotics and wildlife management, animal behaviour (particularly canine), handling and safe working practices.

Previous Experience

I have experience working at a rescue and rehoming centre for domestic and farm animals, at a children’s farm, at an owl sanctuary and display, and with wildlife (as a volunteer) at Wildlife Aid in Leatherhead.

Qualifications & Training

Our home is full of animals – our Alaskan malamute Miska, five cats of varying ages, an aquarium of beautiful, temperate fish, and three ex-bat chickens that live free-range in the garden.

Relevant Info

I do like to meet with new dog walking and doggie day care clients to discuss your and your animal’s needs, and make sure you are happy with arrangements before making a booking. This is also an opportunity for the dogs to all introduce themselves. But please feel free to phone for an informal chat first.

I am also fully insured and crb checked.
