About Me/ Company

Hello there ,
My name is Helen , I am 50 years young and I am looking for a new path in life following the best hobby I have ever had. Now the children have left home and started their own walk in life- I am starting mine.
To do this I need the help of furry little dogs, short haired, long haired, playful, sleepy, bit of rough and tumble anything goes really . To me and my partner a walk is a walk- what happens on the walk stays on the walk. (apart from photos for my own joy really-or to share with you if you would like)
I offer a bathing and grooming service too, and if required massage.
I am able to come to you and house/dog sit or pick them up and come to me. For me to travel it would cost you in fuel on top of the cost of the stay. All other services are included. I am prepared to walk, feed,toilet and groom, massage all under the cost as agreed before commencement of appointment.
If medications are required to be administered I would need to see a vet's letter / reason why they need meds. I will not be responsible for anything happening to a dog on meds after applying them, internally or externally.

Previous Experience

I am an avid animal lover, have been around most breeds- specialise in Rough & Border Collie, Jack Russell, Doberman and Schnauzers - I have had dogs all my life and I am trying this as a new venture as I have been retired from regular work through illness.
I have a partner who is also good with all kinds of animals so should I need to bring along help I can.
I currently have a 19 year old border collie who still insists on walks- slow but walks, I also have an 8 year old Jack Russell that came to stay for a week on and off then the 6 weeks holiday , then over a Christmas and now resides here full time.
This I don't intend to do with all my dogs that I am sitting.

Qualifications & Training

owner of many previous pets
previously a manager of over 150 people so I think handling a dog or three would be much fun
organizational skills
routine is essential to me.
I have a buzz for fresh air and rain- the only thing I will not go out in is frost- snow is fine.
hairdressing and beauty therapy city and guilds (essential for pampering)
I am a good communicator and a nice patient honest person
I have ran businesses before and realise how important it is to get that break you deserve for a relaxing time away from your beloved pets-(children)

Other Services

I come with a good, honest , strong, fit ,man if more than one dog requires sitting, so no need to look any further - if you need lawns etc doing he is quite a catch.
