About Me/ Company

I am currently at university studying Animal Biology. I am looking for part time work to earn some extra money.

I have previous experience working with animals, and have completed an animal handling module whilst at university.

I have always owned dogs and cats whilst growing up and have pretty much dealt with any situation imaginable.

I am hard working and willing to work unsociable hours if needed.

Previous Experience

Boarding Kennels - This role involved caring for mainly dogs and cats, but other animals came along, including chickens and sheep. I worked in this position for about two and a half years, where I got to a level where I was training new members of staff, dealing with medications and occasionally training young dogs.

Personal - I have always kept dogs and cats as pets, and have had all kinds of breeds (from a shih tzu to a greyhound). This personal experience has given me the ability to respond to pets’ behaviour in a home setting rather than in unfamiliar surroundings, like the kennels.

I am currently studying BSc Animal Biology and have just finished my first year, where by I have gained a 2:1 so far.

I am available in the Nottingham area. I live close to Mansfield but do have a car and will travel within reason.
