About Me/ Company
Having had a love for animals from a very young age I feel very lucky to be able to make my hobby a job. I have owned a variety of horses, dogs, cats and other small furries throughout my life. Making sure your furry friend is safe and happy in my care is of upmost importance. It is a stressful time for an animal when their owner goes away on holiday or for work. Dog sitting provides an opportunity for your four legged friend to stay put in familiar surroundings. Dog walking provides you with a piece of mind that they are getting the exercise they need.
Previous Experience
Growing up with our family Golden Retriever Max and my cheeky New Forest Pony Zodiac I knew I wanted to work with animals.
Until recently I worked as a marine biologist and earnt money as a pet sitter/ dog walker as an extra income. However, I was reccomended by a friend to a lady whom was going away on holiday and her usual dog sitter was unable to help out. The lady in question was rather concerned about her elderly sheep dog, she also had a rather excitable young flat coat retriever. I dog sat for a week, taking the dogs out three times a day and following the notes I had made whilst meeting with the owner. On returning from her holiday I was presented with a bottle of wine and a card telling me how happy she was that the 'girls' seemed so realaxed and happy. Doing this gave me the push I needed to take my hobby further and from the good job that I did with my first client I now have regular clients.
