About Me/ Company

I run HollyFold Pet Services from my home, a smallholding, in rural Bickerstaffe, Lancs. A quiet, peaceful location with a securely fenced field specifically designed for off-lead exercise.

I offer a collection/drop-off service and dogs can be exercised as a group or individually to suit your needs (dogs with behavioural issues can usually be catered for on a 1-1 basis). Dogs will have their feet washed and will be towel dried before being dropped at home. ALL DOGS MUST HAVE A CURRENT VACCINATION CERTIFICATE.

I am also able to holiday sit all types of pets in your own home, clean hutches, litter trays etc. services tailor made to your requirements. If you would like your pet to have a holiday too we also have a Boutique Pet Hotel opening in March (bookings now being taken) caring for all small animals, reptile, birds etc. unfortunately we are not in a position currently to board cats or dogs due to licensing requirements.

Trips to the groomers and/or vets can also be done for you.

Previous Experience

Having always had pets since a child I started voluntary work in a vets at the age of 14 which I continued with until leaving for University at 18. Whilst studying zoology I had a part-time job in a pet shop. After the birth of my children we moved to a small holding where I set up and ran animal rescue for many years, mainly cats and dogs but no animal in need was turned away. Due to increased family commitments and the current financial climate I unfortunately had to cease operating the rescue although I do continue to help animals in need in other ways.

We have many pets on site (most came to us as rescues) from our bearded dragon to sheep, horses, ducks and chickens, and of course our own dogs and cats.
