About Me/ Company

I am a very friendly 19 year old that has grown up with and worked with dogs my entire life. At the age of 16 I went to Morton morrell college to study animal management. Here I gained myself a national diploma in animal management with the grade of a triple distinction( the highest possible grade). I also gained an nvq level two and an NOCN practical in dog training. The NOCN practical gave me the chance to work with my favourite animal, dogs. The practical consisted of myself having to take care of a dog on a daily basis and also having to teach this dog new tricks, ready for our college open day at the end of term. I was given one of the more difficult dogs as it was not able to be around other dogs without showing aggressive behaviour. I feel I worked very well with marlon( the dog I was given) as by the end of the time we had working together he was able to be off a lead whilst other dogs were around and did not show a slight bit of aggression. Finally I have my own Boxer dog at home which I adore. I've had him from a puppy and he is the most gentle dog you could meet.

Previous Experience

Grey hound racing yard- here I took the dogs out for walks and maintained here health too, by feeding and grooming them.
Horse riding school- there were many dogs that would come onto the yard and sometimes I was put in difficult situations where the three dogs on the yard that lived there were protecting there territory from other dogs.
Vets- I did a three week placement at the vets where I dealt with sick dogs( and many other animals) which meant I had to always be careful when dealing with them as they were in a different environment and they may become snappy or aggressive.

NOCN dog training practical- passed

Currently studying animal behaviour at university.
