About Me/ Company

Hi there! My name is Hollie, I am not part of a company and do not have my own company, but instead I am trying to break away from the working sector I have been in alongside my studies since I was 16 - retail! into an area that I thoroughly enjoy, and would love to eventually have a career in/with - dogs! I have always been an animal lover, but my passion lies predominately with dogs. I have recently graduated from University with a degree in Animal Behaviour, and since a young age have been working towards a career with animals. Over the years I have accumulated lots of varied experience with dogs, of which I will go into below.

Previous Experience

My early experiences with dogs were being around them regularly on a family farm, watching them work and playing/feeding them when i could. My family and I then got our own dog when I slightly older, a beautiful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who devastatingly we had to rehome a few years later due to my parents' job situations changing meaning that he was left on his own all day every day, 5 days a week. It all ended well though as we managed to find him a loving home with a couple who were retired and could give him the quality and loving time he needed, 24/7. My other experience includes dog walking and dog sitting and volunteering at a rescue centre where I was soon after offered a paid role. Here I worked with a huge variety of dogs, and it was a hugely beneficial and eye opening experience for me. I have also worked with Sniffer Dogs, participating in training them, exercising them and general feeding/kennel maintenance. Currently I am working closely alongside Guide Dogs For The Blind. I have also recently received a diploma in Canine Behaviour and Psychology awarded by an accredited UK behaviourist.

BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour

Level 1 Diploma in Canine Behaviour and Psychology

I am currently completing two other accredited courses; Animal Psychology and a course on Dog Sitting/Walking as a profession.
