About Me/ Company

Hike4Hounds is a fully insured dog walking and pet sitting service.
Hike4Hounds offers one-to-one or small group dog walking. Whether your dog is shy and needs that little bit of extra attention or he loves being around other dogs, Hike4Hounds has a service suitable for you. Walks start from your home and vary in length depending on your dogs physical abilities. Hike4Hounds is based in Carnforth and provides walks in the surrounding areas including Silverdale, Over Kellet and Bolton-Le-Sands. As well as dog walking, Hike4Hounds also offers a pet sitting service that is suitable for dogs, cats and other small animals. I will visit your home and look after your pets whilst you are away, feeding, giving fresh water and cleaning as required. This service aims to make sure your loved ones are happy in your absence. Home visits can vary in length dependent on the animals needs.

Previous Experience

In 2006 I gained a National Diploma in Animal Management and then went on to further my career and gained a degree in Veterinary Nursing in 2009. Since then I have worked as a Veterinary Nurse up and down the country providing me with invaluable experience of handling, behaviour and of course animal health and first aid.
For many years I have wanted my own business and feel dog walking and pet care is the perfect solution. Working with animals is not just a job to me; it’s something I love to do and has become my hobby.
