About Me/ Company

My name is Hester Pickard and I live in Wokingham with my husband, 4 children, 2 dogs and a ginger cat. I’ve had animals my entire life. It took, however, some time to persuade my husband to have a dog but 7 years we got our gorgeous black lab Ruby and he was well and truly converted. So much so that 6.5 months ago we got our second dog Maya a Weimaraner.

I was walking my dogs, in one of our local parks, I was enjoying seeing them run around and having fun, tails wagging in the fresh air, that’s when Hester’s Happy Hounds was born. A dream turned reality. I decided to turn my love for dogs into a full time job.

Previous Experience

I’ve attended different kind of puppy training such a 1-1 sessions as well as group sessions.

I have looked after friend’s dogs whilst they were on holiday.

My business started June 1st and since than I’ve been walking 2 dogs regularly. I’ve been researching different parks/ areas where the dogs can have a good run around.

Relevant Info

I offer dog walks Monday to Friday. Morning and afternoon walks. My aim is to walk small packs as I believe each dog deserves great care and attention.

My dog day care service is Monday to Thursday and when you choose me to look after your fur baby it will be under the knowledge that your dog will be looked after with great care like it’s my own. I offer a safe, secure and happy home from home environment. Your dog will get at least 2 walks a day and in between walks will be kept stimulated with games, puzzles as well as the required rest.
