About Me/ Company

I'm a recent graduate of a degree course who wishes to pursue my passion for animals and their welfare. I have kept pets all of my life and have been responsible for looking after their needs and health. As well as keeping pets I have cared for friend's and family member's pets whilst they were away. I've also volunteered my time for animal charities and organisations whilst I was studying.

Previous Experience

In 2005, whilst I was still at school I worked as a groom at Carrington Riding Centre, which saw me tasked with cleaning the stables and yards, caring for horses and learning about their health, preparing food and water, cleaning tack and equipment, lifting and carrying supplies. I learned about health and safety on the yard and how to behave around the horses and ponies.


Then, in 2008-2009 whilst studying at college I volunteered at a riding stables which ran horse riding classes for disabled adults and young people. I worked with both members of the public and the Stable's staff and horses. I was also involved in allowing disabled adults and young people to take part in riding lessons. I also took part in cleaning and maintain the yard and stables, as well as caring and checking over the horses for injuries or signs of illness. I would prepare their food and water and would lead them to and from the field with a team of others.
