About Me/ Company

I am an experienced animal owner; from dogs to cats, rabbits, hamsters and fish!
I love animals, but my passion is dogs and cats. Following the opportunity to take voluntary redundancy, I have created my own business Hartleys-Hounds, based in Exmouth Devon. I am 41 years old and wanted a change of career to do something I am passionate about and who wouldn't want to be greeted by happy dogs each day who you can take to enjoy the glorious coast and countryside which is on my doorstep.

Previous Experience

I have owned and been around dogs since very early childhood. Most of the family pictures are of me with dogs! Particularly the Labrador and Retriever breed.
In recent years I regularly care for friends and family pets. Dogs, cats and the occasional hamster!
In the past I have re-homed animals from the RSPCA, animal welfare is of utmost importance to me.

Qualifications & Training

In February I obtained an animal first aid certificate
My insurance is through Cliverton insurance
My transport insurance is through Direct Line
