About Me/ Company

Services
My name is Rachael and I provide a dog walking service primarily to the Market Drayton/Shrewsbury area although I do go outside of this depending on the situation. I am also available to dog sit, either in your home or my own.

Everyone (and their dog!) has different circumstances and different needs so please call or email me to discuss your specific requirements. Whilst my services may vary I guarantee a friendly, reliable and professional service every time. Any dog I look after is loved and cared for as if it were my own.

I like to have an informal consultation with any new potential client in order to meet you and your pet/s, discuss your needs as well as your dogs routines and specific requirements. I then offer a free trial session for me and your sofg to get to know each other, if you have opted for group or off lead walks I will use this session to assess their eligibility for this.

About Me
I have never lived without dogs. As a young child we had a boxer and following her a crazy Boston Terrier called Jessie. My family were members of a dog training club and attended training sessions every week, once I was old enough I began handling her myself both at the club and for fun in various obedience shows and competitions.

My passion for dogs continued to grow, and as my peers planned gap years in a variety of far flung exotic destinations, I just strived to be in a stable enough living and working environment to have my own dog. When 2 years later, at 20 years old, I was working as manager of an outdoor activities center in 50 acres of woodland and I knew it was time. Shortly after this an 8 week old Boxer called Roxy entered my life and has been bringing me joy ever since!

In the 7 years that have followed I have devoured every bit of dog training/psychology/behaviour content I could get my hands on, culminating in completing a dog psychology course, allowing me to consult as a dog behaviourist.

I believe in using only positive methods and would never put your dog in a situation he/she isn't comfortable with. Feel free to get in touch for an informal, no obligation chat!
