About Me/ Company

I started Happy Hounds Dog services after completing my obedience and trick dog tests with my own dog and realising that I was at the perfect place in my life to help others train and exercise their dogs. provide a tailor made dog walking service including fun, force free training games to promote the all round well-being of your dog. I am flexible, honest, reliable and committed. I am passionate about ensuring the dogs in my care get the utmost in physical and mental stimulation. I am licensed to exercise up to 6 dogs at a time but usually prefer to keep below that to ensure the safety of all dogs is maintained at all times. All off lead dogs get to wear a tag with my details on (just in case anyone wants to go AWOL!)

Previous Experience

All dogs need daily exercise. It keeps them healthy, socialised and out of trouble! Dogs that demonstrate undesired behaviours are often lacking mental and/or physical stimulation. My aim is to provide plenty of opportunities for play, socialisation and fun training games .My priority is the safety of your dog- I have a good understanding of canine body language and endeavour to anticipate any issues with other dogs. I have a keen interest in how dogs learn having trained my own dog to Kennel Club Gold level in obedience and Trick Dog Champion.

Relevant Info

I try to be as flexible as possible, I can split an hours walk in half for puppies (In other words, two visits for the price of one!) I am often available at short notice- always worth giving me a call, if it can be done, I will do it! I will go out of my way to ensure that dogs are kept happy, healthy and safe. All dogs are cared for like one of my own . No short changing on walks here! An hour walk means just that-AT LEAST an hour ;) I always offer first walk free so that I can assess your dog and how he/she fits within the pack.
