About Me/ Company

I have rescued problematic dogs for the past 28 years, along with that comes a wealth of experience. I have been asked by rescue centres to take specific dogs as they are assured of a stable, life long and loving home. Poppy and Fern have lived with me since they were around a year old and are now 10 and 12, they have become stable and content dogs. Happy Hounds as a boarding business is new, since moving house we now have a generous sized garden (completely secure) and more than ample comfortable living space within the house for furry friends to share. I'm flexible, helpful and try to offer a service that suits your dog/s I will board/sit/walk/taxi. This is my full time occupation so you can be assured your dog will receive lots of love and care.

Previous Experience

5 problematic rescue mutts turned in to wonderful loyal happy companions over a total of 28 years. I have done voluntary RSPCA work, and always been closely associated with dogs in particular. I have always lived with dogs throughout my life and always seem to have a calming understanding influence upon them.

We understand whilst we cannot replace you, we will treat your dog as one of our own, so it will never feel left out. I will take great care to find out from you your dogs routine and likes/dislikes to make the whole experience for them enjoyable and that will mean you can truly relax knowing your dog is in safe experienced hands. While you enjoy your holiday let your dog enjoy theirs.
