About Me/ Company

Hi
I'm bonkers about dogs.
I know how difficult it is to find someone you trust, because until recently I was in the same position with my dogs. In fact I had a very bad experience with a walker.
I'm now lucky enough to work from home as a writer with my canine friends for company.
I'm available for all doggy needs from walks, doggy day care including home visits, vet trips, medication etc to training and behaviour advice.
I'm experienced dog owner and trainer. I own two dogs, one very elderly, one very lively.
I am CRB checked.
An hours walk is an hours walk as I don't include the travelling to and from the walk in the hour. I also keep dogs under close supervision, whether they are walking with me, visiting or I am visiting them. They are never left to their own devices.

I limit the number of dogs I take out at once to avoid out of control 'pack' situations, which can result in injury to your dog or worse, lost dogs. This ensures that all dogs can be properly watched and get individual attention. I'm happy to walk dogs alone if required.

Previous Experience

I have looked after and walked other peoples dogs on a casual basis for many years. In addition, I have undergone dog training, training, and specialise in clicker training. I have worked with several problem dogs over the years in my spare time, offering support and advice to owners. I'm especially skilled with collie types and terriers. I have also worked with dogs with behaviour issues.

In addition, I understand the needs of our more senior citizens as I own one myself and would be delighted to take one on for walks, day care etc. I also have experience of dealing with canine cushings, vestibular syndrome, arthritis etc. So I understand the special care requirements of these dogs.
