About Me/ Company

I am currently in my second year of an Animal Management BTEC, looking for a complete career change, from catering into animal care. I am hoping to train to become a veterinary nurse, but in the meantime I am looking to gain some experience caring for animals, in the way of dog walking. I love animals, especially dogs and I feel I am confident with most breeds, at least all of the ones I have come across. I have my own Labrador, who I have had since a pup, she is now nearly 8 and I have had to deal with plenty of clumsy injuries whilst on walks with her and she has also recently been diagnosed with hip dysplasia, so I feel I understand any special circumstances that may be needed.

Previous Experience

I have walked my own dog anywhere from a lap round the block, to training for the 10km 'Race for Life'. Also, I confidently walk friends and family members dogs, of different breeds, alone or with my own dog.

Qualifications & Training

Animal Management BTEC Level 3, due to finish 2 year course this year, with a merit.

Other Services

I am considering offering a pick up and drop off service for vet appointments etc, if people cannot make it themselves or if they have difficulty getting there. i don't know if this would be of interest to anyone but feedback would be appriciated
