About Me/ Company

Hi my name is Hannah McQuillan, I am 22 years of age and have recently completed a National Diploma in Animal Managment at Hadlow College. As I have finished my course this year and will be looking to seek employment within the animal industry I thought dog walking would be a good place to start. I'm very confident around dogs and have a vast amount of knowledge on them and their behaviour. I thoroughly enjoy interacting and walking dogs so this would be the perfect starting point for me!

My availability is limited due to other commitments but please read for more information in the 'other information' section.

Previous Experience

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home volunteer, where I cared for numerous dogs and undertook every day tasks such as walking, feeding, socialising and general care for the animals.
Two weeks of work experience in a veterinary pratice and I also volunteered in a cattery.
I have personal experience of walking numerous dogs as a hobby -my Aunts Boxer, another Aunts Staffordshire Bull Terrier (whom I also dog sited for 3 weeks whilst she was abroad) and a friends Flat Coated Retriever.
I also walk a couple's West Highland Terrier puppy (Barney) 2 - 3 times a week.
I now currently have a temporary placement at Canada Farm Boarding Kennels and Cattery located in South Darenth.

Qualifications & Training

First Diploma in Animal Management - Distinction*
Nation Diploma in Animal Management - Merit.

Relevant Info

I am situated in Barnehurst, Kent, so anywhere in this area would be much appreciated. I do drive and will be willing to travel as long as the distance isn't too far :)

I currently work in a boarding kennels and my hours are usually 7 am - 4pm, the days I work each week vary but I can send you a schedule of my working days as soon as they become available.
