About Me/ Company

Hi, I'm currently coming to the end of my Animal Management Higher National Diploma and I'm starting to think about job ideas. This sort of work would be ideal for me, I love the outdoors, I have an Alaskan Malamute at my family home and I love walking him. I'm able to handle all types of dogs. I have had much experience working with them, both at the RSPCA and also a few kennel/stray dog environments, and I have loved them all. I am a confident 22year old, I have my own car for transport.

Previous Experience

I volunteered at Godstone RSPCA for a few months last year, and through that I built up my experience with many types of dogs, all breeds and size. I have worked in two kennel environments, currently at Hammerpond Kennels in Plumbers Plain and equally I love that job. They also have the stray dogs contract for west and mid Sussex which entails collecting, looking after and re-homing a range of breeds.
I have always had dogs in the house as I grew up, first a German Shepherd bitch and now an Alaskan Malamute dog, he is huge and adorable at the same time, however he is strong and I manage fine when walking him.

Qualifications & Training

I am just finishing my Animal Management HND - due to qualify with a range of merits and distinctions.
I have my Bronze, Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards so I am more than well acquainted with long walks and physical exercise.

Relevant Info

I am based in Monks Gate near Horsham, however I have my own car so travelling a distance to you is no issue.

I am very flexible with my hours and time available, please don't hesitate to ask me anything. I have experience in grooming an washing all types of dog so if that is what is required after a long walk in the woods then I would be more than happy to provide that service.
