About Me/ Company

I am a complete dog lover with an experience ranging over a vast breed of dogs of all ages - including those with specialist care needs and serving police dogs

I have had dogs my whole life, my own personal pets have been mostly spaniels - this means that I am very used to lively dogs. I have also personally had a border terrier and a Labrador.

Previous Experience

As well as look after my own dogs over the years, I have also had experience of looking after -

- A 12 week old German Shepherd puppy (I had to ensure that I followed the instructions left by his owner in regards to feeding, walking and his continuous training program)
- A Belgian Malinois, a fully trained and in service general purpose police dog (I was trusted to look after the dog for one night, this meant being responsible for his walking, keeping myself and the dog safe. Due to a skin condition, the dog also required special dietary requirements and the adminstration of medication)
- A labradoodle (I have stayed over and dog sat this for many nights, he has a very serious kidney condition which needed to be carefully monitored. The responsibilities for this included administering medication twice a day, keeping his water bottoms constantly topped up, monitoring his behaviour to check that he is ok, and making sure that he is frequently going out for a wee)
- An older blind Jack Rusell (looking after a dog with sight impairment meant I had to take extra care when feeding her, making sure that the others dogs were kept away as she ate, and also watching over her to check that she is not putting herself in danger)
- A 9 week old Labrador puppy (I was in charge of the puppies complete care for two weeks, this meant adherering to his strict routine which included feeding three times a day, letting out to the toilet frequently and getting up early in the morning to do so, allowing the puppy to socialise safely with an older dog, and following his continuous training program set out by the owner)

Relevant Info

I am at work in the week through the hours of 8:30-5:30 but I am available in the evenings and the weekends. I am able to do holiday sitting, dog walking in the evenings. If needs be, then I am available to let dogs out during my allocated lunch hour at work between the hours of 12 and 2, providing that it's a suitable distance from my place of work.
