About Me/ Company

My name is Laura; I am a recent graduate from the University of Hull with a BSc (Hons) Applied Animal Behaviour and Training; I worked at a boarding and rescue kennels throughout my 2nd year of Uni & am now looking to put my skills, knowledge and experience with animals to good use by offering DOG EXERCISING services, and PET SITTING within your home.


DOG EXERCISING

I have experience of exercising 6 lively, challenging dogs regularly; I have two Jack Russells & a crazy Border Collie of my own & have lived with a variety of other breeds through my parents. Working at Leconfield Kennels for a year provided me with experience handling larger dogs such as Rottweillers, Mastiffs and Pyrenean Mountain Dogs.

I am comfortable, and have experience working with dogs with BEHAVIOUR COMPLAINTS, such as aggression, anxiety and over excitement (my Collie suffers all of these!). If desired I can take dogs out in the car for more exciting walks; I have a large, secure boot with a dog guard, which fits 4 Collie sized dogs comfortably.

PRICES
£5 for half an hour (£2.50 per extra dog)
£8 for an hour (£4 per extra dog)
Longer walks will be £4 extra per half hour, per dog.
(I may charge slightly more to cover travel costs if you live outside Blackley - petrol is expensive!)


PET SITTING

I offer my services to care for any species of animal within your own home (unfortunately as I live in rented accommodation I am unable to take pets into my home - sorry); I will visit during the day to feed, and am happy to stay over nights if desired; I am reliable and trustworthy.

I myself have owned a variety of rodents, as well as snakes, bearded dragons, rabbits, cats, birds and fish, and have experience caring for other reptiles, farm animals and horses. I will look after, feed and entertain any animal :)

PRICES
Are negotiable according to the species/number of pet(s) & distance to travel; starting from £3 per day.

Previous Experience

Own 6 dogs, & am used to exercising them all at once.

Experience handling majority of breeds from Jack Russells to Pyrenean Mountain Dogs.

Worked in a kennels for 9 months during degree.
