Dog Walking

About Me/ Company

The dog walking service for busy caring dog owners. After consultation with you I pick your dog up walk for usually just over an hour and return them tired and happy ready for a good snooze. Particularly suited for *professional people who welcome the love and affection a dog gives but can't always due to increasing work pressures take them for a long hike
* the elderly or those who may not be as mobile as they were when they got the dog but still want the best for their best friend
* dogs who let their energy out through other possibly more destructive means

Previous Experience

One year of Going Walkies business - wide range of dogs (size, age and temperament) - Jack Russells to German Shepherds, Labradors, Labradoodle, Terriers, Hungarian Vizsla to name a few. Established regular walks in morning and afternoon, but able to accommodate more on each walk as well as offer individual walks. Prior to this walking my own Collie and others dogs on a voluntary basis

Qualifications & Training

Completing the Professional Diploma in Dog Walking and a Canine Psycholgy course.
Have previously worked in Outdoor Education with parties of children in the outdoors often accompanied by my dog too. Health Walk Leader

Accompanying owners with their dogs who may be recovering form illness or injury, or alternatively disabled or simply lacking confidence to take their dog out for a long walk. Introducing Health Walks with dogs and also walks desigened to improve the health and fitness of the dogs themselves.
Leading walks with owners in more adventurous areas (different rates apply)
Puppy Parades - group walks for puppies to help with socialisation
