About Me/ Company

Hi! My name is Georgia Morrow, I am 20 years old and I absolutely adore all animals!
I have been passionate about the health and welfare of animals since I was a child and I have chosen to pursue a career in animal care.

Previous Experience

I studied Animal Care & management in college and I have had 2 placements at different animal care businesses.
My first placement was at a 'Doggy day care/ training school' called Dog Diplomacy where I would help to train various dog breeds to do general commands such as 'sit' and 'lie down' as well as some agility course training.
I also had a placement at a 'dog groomers/doggy day care' called Growling Groomers, these were my job roles:
•Using appropriate restraining methods with suitable equipment
•Comforting nervous dogs through new grooming experiences
•Preparing dogs for grooming by bathing and drying
•Cleaning work surfaces and waste
•Monitoring and socialising with numerous dogs within the day care
Overall I have had experience with many dog breeds and I have dealt with dogs of many temperaments and I feel as though I have plenty of experience to handle and care for many dog breeds.

Qualifications & Training

At Walkden college I studied: 'Level 3 Extended Diploma: Animal Care And Management' and received 3 distinction stars as my final grade (Equivalent to 3 A*'s).
