About Me/ Company

Hi my name is Gemma and I am 18 years old.
I have recently finished my level 2 Land-based studies (animal care) course at Capel Manor College at which I achieved at a pass grade. During my time at Capel Manor I worked with many different animals including farm animals, reptiles/amphibians, exotics and small and large mammals.
I also own pets of my own including my 8 year old German shepherd Zac and four cats with ages ranging from 11 months to 6 years. I have also owned many other pets in the past including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters and rabbits.

Previous Experience

Past animal care related work experience I have had includes zoo work and pet shop work.
On two separate occasions I worked at Posh Paws Pet shop (work experience only) animals I worked with here include puppies, kittens, rodents, reptiles and fish. My job was to make sure all animals in the shop were fed and generally looked after and healthy.
I also carried out work experience Paradise Wildlife park Zoo. Here I worked with many different animals including small and large animals, a range of different birds,farm animals, and exotics. My job was to feed all animals in the park and make sure they were all in good health.

I do not currently drive so I serve local areas to me such as cheshunt turnford Broxbourne waltham cross. But if you are unsure please contact me :)

I do not always look after pets in my own home but can sometimes depending on circumstances and only for one day one offs. Please contact me if you are unsure. :)
