About Me/ Company

I have grown up with dogs since I was very young, helping to look after them, walk them and feed them. I have experience with Alsatians, Labradors, Staffies, Yorkies, Lurchers and Salukis. I regularly walk the dogs my mother owns with her and we currently have two Lurchers and a Saluki. I also feed them when she is not able and regularly dogsit when she cannot be around for them due to having to run errands. I am a dog-loving person who is especially fond of them and am quite content with spending time with them. The only reason I do not have my own is due to being at University.

I am also the webmaster of a dog rescue site known as Alfie's Lost Dogs, where I have worked for 5 years. Due to the nature of the job, it's more than necessary for me to be familiar and comfortable with dogs even if my upbringing had not made me so. Both of my bosses have several dogs too, who I am always happy to see.

I am currently only looking for temporary work over the summer while I am not at University as I would be unable to have pets in my new home in Canterbury. However rest assured that I am currently in a house where dogs are perfectly allowed. Arrangements can also be made so that the dog will not mix with our own, should you choose to do so.

Previous Experience

I do not have any previous experience professionally as a dog sitter but as I stated before, I have grown up with dogs and am very familiar with their needs and how to look after them. I have even had experience dealing with newborn puppies and helping to feed them. I currently dogsit for my mother while she cannot be at home and these responsibilities usually involve feeding them, making sure they are comfortable and happy as well as walking them.
