About Me/ Company
I am an experienced Dog Walker and having studied canine behaviour I have a sympathetic and understanding approach to all breeds of dogs. I have been dog walking professionally for the past five years so I am also sympathetic and understanding of dog owners also.
I am experienced in handling and walking large or small dogs and I am available any weekday to walk your dog(s).
Having walked owners dogs I understand their wishes should they require their dog walked alone or if they prefer them to be walked in company with others. I make sure all dogs walked have varied and interesting walks each day, and when returned home I ensure they have adequate drinking water and/or treats and toys to keep them occupied until their owner(s) return home.
As a cat owner I am also experienced with handling and taking care of cats.
Previous Experience
I have grown up with a home where we had working and pet Labradors, and a variety to rescued dogs of all sizes over the years. I have owned Golden and Flat Coated retrievers all of my adult life. So I am one of those people who cannot live without a dog by my side.
I have been a professional dog walker for several years now and I have walked all dogs from Jack Russell terriers to St Bernards. I accommodate walks to suit all individual types and ages of dogs.
I have also been a cat owner for the past 20 years and often cat sit, or carry out house visits for cat owners away on holiday.
Qualifications & Training
I worked in a dog grooming salon for 3 years in Telford, Shropshire.
I studied Canine and Equine behaviour at University to BSc (Hons) level.
I am currently studying Veterinary Physiotherapy at MSc level.
This qualification will allow me to treat all animals requiring physiotherapy treatment from post-operative care to common conditions such as arthritis and provide all animals with a rehabilitation and exercise programs to assist them in leading pain free and active happy lives.
