About Me/ Company

Hi,

My name is Garrett. I own just two of my own dogs now - two Siberian Huskies - but I've owed many more. I've lived with dogs my whole life and after a career in healthcare management, I decided that I wanted to make dogs my life.

With this in mind, I qualified as a professional dog trainer in association with the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers and set up Garrett Dog Training. We provide everything from one-to-one behavioural consultations and modification, right through to puppy classess, obedience classes and one-to-one's, and of course dog walking and exercising. We also provide doggie day care and extended breaks.

Previous Experience

I'm 32 and have 32 years dog experience. I grew up with both farming, security and per dogs. My focus in recent years has been working with pet dog owners to resolve behaviour issues and help people to maximise their fun-time with their dogs.

I also provide school assemblies and classes on Responsible Dog Owners and Dog Safety, which is endorsed by our local MP.

Masters Degree in Biological Sciences (MSc) - specialised in the movement mechanics of humans and animals.
