About Me/ Company

I’m a dog obsessed (and I mean obsessed!) 27 year old who, having recently started up Furmiliar Dog Walking, has space in the diary for new dogs to walk, love and look after. I’m responsible, reliable and patient, and ultimately adore dogs and giving them the care and attention they need! I’ve previously worked in the equine industry before moving into dogs, something which I’ve always wanted to do and feel so lucky to finally do it as a job!

I’ve worked in a Doggy Day Care and Boarding Kennels, giving me experience with all breeds and types of dogs from Chihuahuas to Irish Wolfhounds, and everything in between! This has been invaluable to my skill set, learning about the characteristics and handling of different breeds, and how best to interact with them - understanding their body language is a huge part of how I work.

Lots of certificates and qualifications including Dog First Aid, Dog Care, Dog Behaviour and Professional Dog walking. I also have diplomas in Canine Nutrition and Understanding Canine Anxiety, as well as holding the Responsible Dog Owners certificate from the British College of Canine Studies. Education in all these different areas have equipped me with skills to give your dogs the best care possible.

I offer lots of services to suit, from fun and enriching group walks to solo walks for those who need quieter times. I’m happy to take on puppies and oldies (and of course all those in between!) Experience with reactive and anxious dogs so they are more than welcome. My own dog will sometimes make up part of the group walks. She’s a friendly, energy filled Miniature Schnoodle who loves nothing more than joining a group of pups (if space permits!).

Drop in visits and house sitting also available. Plenty of experience with different types of animals - you name it, I’ve probably looked after it, even frogs! ???????????
