About Me/ Company

I am about to start a full-time PhD in the autumn and am looking to subsides my income. I regularly walk an hour or more a day and miss canine company (I grew up with dogs). I am use to a wide range of dog breeds and temperaments and am a reliable, relaxed and physically very fit person. I live in North London and would be happy to take a dog for a good walk once a day, or twice depending on journey time, and house sitting while owners are away.

Previous Experience

I grew up on a small farm and my family has kept a variety of different dogs throughout my life of various temperaments: Spaniels, Collies, a Labrador. Not all the dogs came to us as puppies, and while most were/are straight forward dogs the collie is very shy and can be neurotic and we have had to work slowly with her to build her trust and confidence. Growing up in a country community has also meant interaction with many neighbors and friends dogs, again across a wide spectrum of breeds. I have done a small amount of dog and house sitting during my teens for friend’s families, namely for a Labrador.
