About Me/ Company

My name is Fiona, I am 24 years old and have loved dogs ever since i can remember.

We got our first dog as a family 11 years ago, a mad Yellow Labrador called Max. We sadly lost Max in January of this year and things are not the same without him. I am missing going for walks and having dogs around as company so therefore would love to help others with their dogs.

I have recently moved into a house with my Mum and so cannot get another dog of my own. Therefore i would like to offer my services as a dog walker/sitter. I work 3 days a week at a fruit and veg market during term time and exercise horses for an hour on my mornings off. I am very active and love exploring the countryside. Last year I completed an 11 mile sponsored walk with my Auntie's Border Collie along the Test Way. I am also able to lift large dogs into cars if required.

I have my own car (VW Polo) which was affectionately known as "The Dog Mobile" before Max passed away - so is well used to being covered in hair and mud. I am no stranger to early mornings so am happy to walk any time i am needed to.

Previous Experience

I have previously looked after my friend's dog, pigs and house whilst she was away, and continue to do so whenever she needs me to.

I owned my own rescue dog Max for almost 11 years, walked him twice a day and looked after him fully for that time.

I have also previously been asked by other friends to look after their dogs for the odd day here and there, have walked them and used to walk a friend's dog after school when i was younger.

Qualifications & Training

I am looking into doing a dog grooming course at the local college.

I have a BSc in Sport Science from Brunel University, so am no stranger to exercise and physical activity.

Other Services

I can also offer horse exercising in the local area or can look after horses if you are away as have ridden and looked after horses since i was 6 years old.

I have house sat previously for people. I do not mind doing that but am allergic to cats.
