About Me/ Company

Hello! My name is Fern. I am nineteen and eager to make a little extra money whilst I study at home up until September when I will be studying animal management at Writtle college. I have always had a huge passion for animals, especially dogs. I would be more than willing to train/play/interact with your dog and tend to any specific needs. I have quite a lot of general knowledge when it comes to many different breeds, and would love to have more hands on experience with many different types of dogs.

Previous Experience

I used to walk neighbours dogs as a child. When I as finally allowed my own dog, we bought a jack russell puppy. We discovered as he grew that he has a neurological condition known as cerebellar ataxia. This means his brain cannot fully control his motor functions, making it very hard for him to keep his balance. Stand, walk and sit. When he gets excited his whole body wags as apposed to just his tail and he jumps about like Bambi! He takes a lot of effort to keep, and people have asked why we don't put him down. The simple answer is that he's happy, in fact he is by the far the happiest dog I have ever met, and while he is still enjoying life, I'm going to make sure he gets the best out of it.
