About Me/ Company

I'm Fiona, I'm 20 years old and passionate about animals.
I live in my own house with my 3 cats and parrot. I have had dogs and all sorts of pets all my life and it had always been my goal to work with animals. Especially dogs.

Previous Experience

As I stated I have been around and had my own dogs my whole life. Some of which I had from puppies, some rescued.
I have experienced many types of dogs and dog behaviours, for example dogs frightened of cars, or people, dogs difficult to train. I have always been around my friends and family's dogs to help with any problems they may have had.
Also I work as a volunteer at Animal Care the shelter near me in Lancaster. This includes walking and training all sorts of types, shapes and sizes or dogs. As well as helping with the small animals and looking after the many cats.

Qualifications & Training

I am currently doing a 'from home' animal care course, I will eventually do more and more and go into more specialist subjects.
My greatest interest is animal behaviour and I hope to eventually become a dog behavioural therapist or I could become a registered Veterinary nurse.

Other Services

As you know I also have lots of experience with cats and have 3 of my own, 2 rescued, one I've had from a kitten.
I have never met a cat that didn't feel happy, safe and secure with me, even if it took a little doing, I have met many feisty cats!
So I will also be more than happy to look after your cat/s and keep them content whilst you are away.
Also I do have experience with birds, I have had budgies and currently a parrot, I know people who also keep birds and have met many different personalitys!
I have a wonderful relationship with my parrot Bella. She has wonderful toys and a harness which she comes outside with me in the summer to meet people.
There are so many cases where people with birds can't even stroke their pet because there is no trust there, they are such wonderful creatures to have when you can really have a close relationship with them.
