About Me/ Company
My name is Flavia, I absolutely love dogs. I grew up with Alsatians in Italy and when we moved over here I have been volunteering to help my neighbour downstairs walk and look after her pugs (5),additionally I have been a home teacher to a family for the last 6years and as part of my task I looked after their dog,walked him, fed him,exercised him and was company to him.
I have ample experience, coming from a family where as mentioned before I grew up with dogs,but also on a wider sphere,my extended family have,2 huskies,1doberman,horses,cows,virtually a farm,hence it is only natural that the passion has been transmitted to myself.
I originally graduated in law and psychology from oxford but am now embarking on a further sector, having completed my animal psychology cpd and currently re-enforcing my expertise with dog sitting and nutrition cpd.
I can relate to how dogs can form such a natural part of the family and often are almost like children. I am reliable, punctual and always will do my utmost to make sure the dog is at ease and we form a good relationship.
will always respect and fully take on board what the owner says, I am more than willing to even just help out with walking the dog as I am available most days. I am emphatic and understanding,a dog too needs to be understood . safety and making the dog feel at ease is the most important thing,I am crb checked, completely trust worthy available to offer references from my long standing employer.
As stated before, I have first hand experience with my own dogs, as I grew up with dogs and they were such a natural part of the family.
Currently I walk my employers dog three times a day , twice a week, whilst he is away,he has a st Bernard. Also as he has is an animal psychologist I have been shadowing him, and gaining relevant experience.
I have enrolled and comleted a dog walking and animal care diploma and currently I am in the midst of this process, having completed the animal psychology cpd.
I have a level 3 diploma in fitness instructing, hence have a strong musculature, and know exactly how to level the right amount of intonation when talking to a dog to get their attention.
Also I have check-able references and I am fully CRB checked.
