The Fairy Dogmother offers a friendly approach to dog training, with positive based reward training and many more services.

Dog walking is £10 per hour, this includes, on the lead training as standard as well as motivating, excersising and giving your dog the mental stimulation it needs. All methods of training and walking are all a hands off approach, rewarding your dog with praise or treats - or both! - when positive behaviour is displayed.

Fairy Dogmother uses the same hands off approach to training - This can be from general household manners to tricks, training working dogs and guard breeds is also done in a very positive and non aggressive way. These training techniques cost £30 for one hour and are prooven to be very effective with a quick response from your dog. Using tools such as body language, treats, toys and a clicker if nessasary.

We also offer a pet sitting service, If you and your family or partner want a break from all the city rushing, your dog can stay at a house where you can also meet the trainer and inspect the home to ensure your pets wellbeing while you are away - or for further piece of mind a trainer can stay at your home if preffered. Other services include 1-2-1 behavioural sessions, 1-2-1 training /obedience sessions, 1-2-1 puppy training and Group training.

We at Fairydogmother do not use any unorthadox methods or tools such as; spray/shock collars, no hitting or dominating your dog, no shouting! and we do not restrict your dogs movement by force, creating a visual barrier by using yourself is all you need for your dog to stay where you want him to.

FairyDogother opperates in the south birmingham areas; Kings Heath, Yardley wood, Hall green and surrounding areas.

Previous Experience

I have grown up with dogs all my life, from working dogs to loveable companions at home. Living in the training enviroment gave me inspiration at an early age. I have practiced many training techniques and been running my own dog walking/training business for one year.

I have had very positive feedback from clientele and continue to find new and exciting ways to communicate with dogs. I have been studying positive reward based training for eighteen months and find it to be a very successful and a highly responsive training method.
