About Me/ Company

I am an 18 year old college student at the moment and I love looking after dogs. I look after my friends dogs when they go on holiday or for a weekend break. I take care of them myself and make sure they get regular exercise and excessive amounts of attention. I am currently studying A-levels at college but I am finishing in the next couple of weeks so I will have time in the next 3 years to look after dogs.
I am currently looking for a part time job and looking after dogs is, for me, the perfect past time. I adore dogs and would do anything to have one of my own but because of me and my mums busy schedule at the moment we cannot have one. Being able to care for different dogs will give me the experience of seeing what dog best suits my lifestyle and looking after and walking all different breeds will fill me with joy.

Previous Experience

I regularly look after my friends dogs and I am also a registered volunteer and Manchester Dogs Home. The dogs home is a brilliant place to volunteer because of the different varieties of dogs that are available for me to care for.
In the past I have also dog-sat for friends and family for a few days and learning the environment in the new area is exciting for me.

Qualifications & Training

Once I finish college I am continuing onto a university course in FdSc Canine Studies (Blended Learning) which is a 3 year course. It is a mostly online course and only requires me to visit the college 3 times a year. Because it is an online course I will have plenty of time to complete my work and also walk/dog-sit.
