About Me/ Company

I am 56 years old and live in Newbury, Berkshire. I am passionalte about all animals and nature, enjoying walks in the countryside.

I prefer the great outdoors and have spent some years in the Indian Himalaya which really is the great outdoors!. I have a car, so am mobile, I also enjoy gardening, photography and video film making. I also enjoy horse riding.

Previous Experience

I have always lived around dogs. My parents had German Shepherds that I helped train at obedience school and I walked them all the time.

Since then I have had dogs of my own, my most recent being 2 local dogs in the Himalaya where I lived for 14 years! During this time I learnt how to give injections for various ailments and assisted the animal husbandry veterinary with surgeries they required. I also rescued a German Shepherd who was not being cared for in Sri Lanka and brought him up to the Himalaya (a long way!) He was a wonderful animal and lived a very good and enjoyable life with me in the hills which were much better suited to his breed.
I have also cared for animals at the Vale Wildlife Hospital in Gloucestershire, which is a priveledge to care for many diverse species.
I am healthy and fit, so walking and caring for your dog will not be a problem. I do miss having a dog here in the UK, so would welcome the opportunity to tend to yurs in your absence.

I don't have any relevant qualifications, but do feel my experience and passion for the 4 legs is more than adequate!
