About Me/ Company

I am a student taking a gap year before going to study veterinary medicine at university and would love the opportunity to work with dogs. Despite my age I have had plenty of experience working with dogs and can remain calm and work under pressure.

Previous Experience

Worked at boarding and training kennels for over a year, took part in cleaning and maintenance of kennels, letting dogs out for exercise in groups, taking care of over 30 dogs.
Helped at two whelpings, assisting in the delivery of 22 puppies in total and single handedly ran the kennels as well as caring for both litters of puppies at once. Fed the dogs, gave necessary medication to dogs.
Took part in work experience at a vet once a week for over a year, observing consults, giving animals injections, watching surgery, holding animals while stitches were removed, cleaning surfaces post consultation.
