About Me/ Company
I am a professional young lady studying Animal Welfare Science Ethics and Law at Winchester University. I have 3 dogs of my own at home, and have always grown up with pets. I enjoy getting out of the house to get a break from my Uni work, and to be able to spend that time with dogs would be lovely!
Previous Experience
Aside from my every day experience with my own dogs, I have had experience holiday sitting two miniature dachshunds when I lived in Australia. These dogs suffered separation anxiety and were often aggressive towards new people. I sat for them on a regular basis as their owners were often away. I used to walk a very excitable labradoodle puppy when her owner worked late. She was a bundle of joy and I helped in the training of her.
2/3 of my dogs at home require frequent medication so I am familiar with administrating some kinds of medication if necessary (I did so with the Dachshunds)
Qualifications & Training
Animal Welfare Science, Ethics and Law MSc.
Although this is not a typical qualification for dog walkers, I have learnt a lot about animal behaviours, such as stress and anxiety signals and other deleterious manners. When considering companion animals, we paid particular focus to positive-reinforcement-training.
Relevant Info
I am currently undertaking my research project for my Masters and not working under employment so I am extremely flexible.
Other Services
I'm pretty easy to be honest. Happy to get stuck in to whatever your pet needs. I can go on as long a walks as you desire.
