About Me/ Company

I am currently living in Easingwold near York having just returned from New Zealand where I lived for a year.

I read a degree in Environmental Management and a Masters in Sustainable Development having always been keen to work in conservation and with animals. My career for the last few years however has taken me in a different direction and although I very much enjoyed it, I am now having a 'career break' and moving back into the field of conservation and animals.

Along with volunteering at the RSPCA, looking after animals is a enjoyable and rewarding job of which I am keen to do as much of as possible.

I am very reliable, honest and hardworking and I with my love of outdoors I will enjoy the walking as much as your dog!

Previous Experience

Having grown up always having a vairety of pets, I have been walking dogs since I can remeber and have often looked after friends and aquaintances dogs when they have been on holiday or away on business.

For the past year in new Zealand, I have been volunteering at a wildlife park every Saturday where I've worked with a variety of animals and through this gained extensive knowledge in animal care and managment. I've subsequently been trained to handle wild and tame animals safely and assist feed when nessessary, prepare a wide range of food & mediacation and clean a variety of different enclosures, burrows, hutches and tanks.

Other Services

Having taken care of and worked with a variety of animals, I am happy to look after any other pets that live with you and indeed house sit if there are a few to consider.

I am also a keen gardener, so if it suits, I can link in a few odd jobs around the garden or house with animal sitting or care, including cleaning out enclosures/hutches, securing netting/fences, weeding/planting/sweeping or clearing paths, digging ponds etc.
