Myerscough Animal Academy 2004 (6 days over a period of 6 weeks)
• Caring for the needs of felines, canines, reptiles, amphibians, fish, birds, rodents, ponies and a donkey
• Assisted when customers dogs were groomed
Animal Magic Pet Shop, 2003/4 Cleveleys (40 days over a period of 14 months)
• Cleaning tanks and cages
• Weighing out bags of pet food
• Health checking the animals and attending to customers
• Sorting out the stock room and informing staff of things that needed to be ordered in
Destitute Animal Shelter, 2003 Bolton (28 days over a period of 7 months)
• Cleaning and disinfecting kennels and cages
• Walking dogs and feeding the animals
• Observing dogs with behavioural problems and their new potential owners in the ‘house’.
Gilmore Veterinary Surgery 2001 (2 weeks Work Experience)
• Cleaning out animals cages
• Observing appointments with the public and the vets
• Getting medicines and treatments for the vets to administer to the animals

Relevant Info
