i am16 years old i am currently studying at Atherton Sixth From. I love any kind of animals which led me to study animal care.

Previous Experience

May 2008 – May 2009. Horwich Disabled Riding School.
•This was a role I undertook as a Volunteer.
•Here I helped Disabled Children to ride the horses at the stables. This was a very enjoyable and rewarding role and re-affirmed that a career working with children is what I would like to do.
•My volunteer work also included helping clean out the horse stables, feed the horses, walking the horses and other jobs that would need doing around the stables.
•As part of this role there was an equal share of both team work and working on my own initiative.
•Although this was a riding school and did involve looking after the horses, the main role was the interaction with all the children. Whilst at the riding school we constantly went through all the health and safety regulations, and feel I have a good concept of these within a childcare background.
