About Me/ Company

I am an animal lover and own Dylan, who is a 2.5 year old Cockerpoo and also Thomas, a rescue Tom cat.

New start up business. I want to walk dogs with Dylan, who loves the company. I prefer regular jobs so that I get to know the dog and he/she gets to know us and feel happy and comfortable. I am willing to do occasional short notice for emergencies. Also willing to dog sit in owner's home and also sleep over during family vacations.

Previous Experience

This is my second dog, the previous, Dexy was a collie/spaniel cross who died of old age about 16 years ago.

I have regularly looked after a friend's dog Tess, who is an 8 year old springador. She belongs to a family I am friends with and I first looked after Tess when the family went to a wedding. Because I enjoyed her company so much I had her for sleep overs during ill health. Tess is still my favourite girl and I see her regularly with Dylan.

I looked after Puck for a neighbour, when he was old and didn't want to travel so much. He needed regular medication but was a lovely hound, who loved to wander in the park near where we live. Dylan loved him and because Puck was hard of hearing, would wake him up when it was time for a walk and Puck would get up quickly, maintaining a look of dignity

I am about to walk Mr Darcy, a spaniel for a friend and this is now how the business is to start. I love dogs dearly and this will fit in with my life, with Dylan and keep me healthy and happy. Perfect!.

Qualifications & Training

I have worked most of my life in administration in various organisations, including Government. I have a BA in Buqusiness Administration, NEBOSH (Occupational Safety and Health) and various secretarial qualifications. I was also a First Aider for many years.

My dog walking qualifications are common sense, experience with own and friends' dogs and a love of dogs.

I am honest, capable and level headed. Good in an emergency and also reliable and dependable.

I can provide character references and confirmation of my ability to love and enjoy the company of dogs, from my friends.

Relevant Info

I am in my mid fifties, have a ready-made grandson whom I adore, along with my son and his wife.

I come from a large family who are based in East Anglia. I came to London via work commitments and love the City, its people, its dogs and its parks.
