About Me/ Company
I have recently retired from working for the NHS but continue to work from home. I know how hard it is to get good care for your pets and personally I only use family members if I need a dog sitter.
On this basis I thought it would be a good idea to offer my services to other animal lovers who need a safe place to leave their dogs whilst they work or go on holiday.
Previous Experience
I have 2 dogs of my own and up until recently I had 3. I have had my own dogs from the age of 12 until now, all my dogs have been well trained and love to mingle with other dogs. I regularly take my pets abroad by car, they also have regular holidays in the UK. All my previous employment has been for services where it has been necessary for me to have a DBS done, to prive that I have no criminal convictions.
Qualifications & Training
I have a degree in Healthcare Studies, various Stat & Mand certificates in manual handling, health & safety, vulnerable adult & child welfare.
I have also taken an ILM course in Line Management and a Substance Misuse Management certificate with the RCGP.
Relevant Info
I am an animal lover, vegetarian and animal rights campaigner. I support various animal charities and have references from my current customers who include a GP and a business owner.
Other Services
I offer a homely, efficient service of either dog walking or dog sitting from my own home for dogs that are happy to mix with my own, two small dogs. My dogs are walked twice a day and any dogs in my care would be walked at the same time. I have a large garden for my dogs to play in though in the winter they prefer to be indoors.
I am also happy to look after other animals than dogs but not cats sadly.
