About Me/ Company
I have been around dogs since my parents got an Old English Sheepdog when I was 5. Over the years they took my sister and me to lots of dog shows including Crufts. For my 21st birthday I got a Bearded Collie (Arran)- the best birthday present ever. We also took in a rescue OES called Max and at one point had 4 OES and a Beardie. I was involved in caring, walking, playing with them which is good preparation for a dog walker/pet sitter. At the moment we only have one rescue dog called Jamie. After the season at Crianlarich Guest House ended (and I had my 50th birthday), I decided I wanted to do something I was really enthusiastic about. I love dogs and enjoy walking so Donna's Dog Walking Service was born.
Previous Experience
Apart from our own dogs, in my free time at Crianlarich I used to walk the neighbour's Bearded Collie everyday. Sometimes just locally but othertimes we went in the car to explore different places. Our walks could vary between 40 minutes and 4 hours.
Qualifications & Training
None at present. Registered for Animal Aiders First Aid Course 9th March

Other Services
Donna's Dog Walking offers dog walking, pet sitting and home visits to small animals, cats and dogs in Ardrossan and surrounding areas, North Ayrshire. Pet transportation to vets/groomers etc is also available.
Walks are approximately 45 minutes to local parks and beaches. Dogs are walked alone or with one other (will take more if from same household) and will be kept on a lead unless written consent from the owner is given.
Home visits can include refreshing food/water/cages or letting a very young/elderly/poorly dog out for the toilet, play or some companionship. Owners can be texted with an update on their pet if they wish.
