About Me/ Company

Based on the edge of the beautiful Pewsey Vale on the outskirts of Devizes, I'm Sarah, a stay-at-home Mum with two dogs of our own. I provide a dog boarding service in my own home where visiting dogs are treated exactly the same as our dogs (one Border Collie and one Border Collie/Labrador cross).

The dogs are walked two, sometimes three times a day for approximately 5 miles in total. To provide variety we go on different walks each day, ranging from canal-side to woodland, to open fields; and they are played with and fussed throughout the day. The dogs have the run of downstairs of the house as well as the secure, back garden, although I tend to find that they are happy to sleep after each walk!

I am available to care for your dog(s) year round - please click on the 'availability' tab to see if I am free to care for your dog(s) on your preferred dates. (I do have regular customers who book well in advance).

Initially, we can arrange a mutually convenient dog walk where your dog(s) meet mine, and all being well, you can then pop along for a home visit.

I welcome dog(s) that I can care for on a regular basis, so that I can get to know the animal well.

Prices are affordable:

For stays of three or more days £10.00 for a full day’s care, to include walks with a £5.00 supplement per night (50% fee reduction for second dog).

For day care anything less than 3 days and 3 nights, the rate is £15.00 per day with a £7.50 supplement for night care (2nd dog half price).

One day = 12 hours (8am to 8pm)
One night = 12 hours (8pm to 8am)

If you would like me to care for your dog(s) for a longer period of time, i.e. two or three weeks plus, then I would be happy to consider a reduced daily price (2nd dog half price).

Since I provide my dogs with treats, I would expect to do the same for any visiting dogs, otherwise it wouldn't seem fair. I charge for dog treats separately and only give natural dried tripe sticks and rawhide chews. As a rule of thumb for a one week stay for two dogs, these treats cost approx. £7.50.

All dogs are groomed/brushed at the end of their stay and when you come to pick up your dog(s) you will receive a Doggy Diary report so that you can see exactly what they have been up to!

I also offer a "Doggie Boot Camp", where your dog can come and stay if they need to lose weight and get fit. Very often owners are told by the vet that their dog needs to lose weight, however they find it difficult to cut down food portion sizes and provide a sufficient amount of exercise. Again, I make this an affordable option for owners and results are evident after just a couple of weeks. Please enquire for further details and references.
