About Me/ Company

Dogs for Walks is an expanding Dog Walking Service for residents in East Kilbride and surrounding areas. Dogs want fun when they are going for their daily walk and Dogs for Walks aim to strive to provide this for your dog. The impeccable level of service provided by Dogs for Walks will reassure you as a dog owner that your dog is enjoying their walk in a safe and secure environment of professional care.



Maintaining health and well-being for dogs is vitally important throughout their life and walking plays an integral part in this. Research shows that dogs need a minimum of 45 minutes walking per day for balanced and healthy exercise. Dogs for Walks can provide this service for you and your dog if you are working, have a function, you are unwell or just fancy a pet free day.



When you get in touch with Dogs for Walks we will arrange a first 'meet and greet' visit with you and your dog. We like to get to know you and your dog and understand your walking and care requirements fully. The breed, age, energy levels and temperament of your dog are all important factors that help Dogs for Walks identify the best walks and social group for your dog.

Previous Experience

Hi, I’m Bryan. After 12 years working in various Universities across Scotland and other parts of the world, I decided it was time for a career change. One of my passions in life has always been dogs and I have held a lifelong ambition to work with them more closely. Dogs for Walks has allowed me to fulfil this ambition. Dogs have always been part of my life whether it be my dogs Trixie and Chay when I was growing up; to the dogs that my extended family and friends had; to my very own current dog, Milly. Having used dog walking services in the past for Milly I know how important it is for dogs to have the right service and for you as an owner to feel comfortable in the knowledge that your dog is in a safe and reliable environment of care.

It is advisable that I arrange a ‘meet and greet’ with your dog so that they become accustomed to me before any walking services commence. This ‘meet and greet’ can be on more than one occasion until the dog is comfortable with my presence. The option of a complimentary walk after the meet and greet is on offer to potential clients for me to gain further trust and familiarity with your dog.

Other Services

Dog Sitting - Dogs are far happier and healthier in their home environment as opposed to a kennel and often dislike the experience when being transported to boarding establishments. Dogs for Walks offers a reliable and professional dog sitting service to meet the needs for you and your dog. Familiar smells and sounds can reassure dogs when a dog sitter is caring for them in their own environment. You may need to utilise Dogs for Walks to act as a dog sitter if you are at a function, away on extended business, have family commitments or on a short break holiday. Dogs for Walks will provide companionship and comfort to your dog in your absence in your own home.

The dog sitting service offered by Dogs for Walks can be for a short period of 1 hour up to longer periods of 8 hours (longer periods usually reserved for weekends but may be available during weekdays) depending on your circumstances and requirements and your dog will receive an impeccable level of care. We can provide feeding and watering, playing activities with your dog to keep them stimulated, our professional walking service is supplied with any period of dog sitting that you book. In addition, we are pet professionals can administer medication where needed. This professional and personal serrive can be provided for as little as £5 per hour.

Dogs for Walks is a fully accredited member of NARPS (National Association of Registered Pet Sitters) and is fully Disclosure Scotland vetted.

Pet Taxi - There may be times when you need to take your dog to the vet, kennels, groomers etc. but you may have no mode of transportation or would prefer to use this type of professional service as opposed to a regular taxi. Dogs for Walks will happily transport you and your dog to your destination and collect and return you promptly home at agreed times.

Dog Food Delivery - If you are a customer of Dogs for Walks this complimentary service allows us to do the leg-work for you by delivering a range of dog food products to your door, saving you time and money. Simply complete an order form as and when required and the food will be delivered to your door within 2-3 days of ordering. The range of food is extensive and just some of the brands supplied are: Bakers, Pedigree, Purina ProPlan, Burns, Harringtons, Wagg, Arden Grange and James Wellbeloved. Others may be available on request.
