It is my philosophy to welcome all Dogs Aboard. I am committed to support you, the dog owners, to help care for your dogs at times when you can't. I understand that owning a dog in a busy city like London brings its unique challenges. I am here to make yours and your dog's lives happier.

My aim is to work with you to improve communication and to help you bring the best out of your dog. I do this by using modern dog training methods that are force free and reward positive behaviour.

I am located in Twickenham and in addition of this area I cover Hampton, Kingston, Richmond and Teddington. If you live outside these, please call me to discuss how I can help you.

Previous Experience

Dogs Aboard was founded by Zuzana Sokolova in 2016 to support dog owners with everyday dog challenges and to improve theirs and their dogs lives in the fast-paced city of London.

Originally from Slovakia, Zuzana's passion for dogs grew from a very young age. The daughter of a German Shepherd breeder and a Police dog trainer, her natural affinity with dogs was inevitable.
​
After a long career in the corporate world, Zuzana was given a new lease of life when she got her Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy called Themba.
​
Combining her love for dogs and the great outdoors and understanding the difficulties some dog owners may face with raising a dog, she decided to set up Dogs Aboard.
​
Zuzana is a passionate believer in 'force free' dog training / walking and adheres to positive reinforcement techniques.

Qualifications & Training

I am in the process of becoming a fully qualified and accredited member of the Institute of Modern Dog Training (IMDT). IMDT was founded by Steve Mann and provides and promotes force free training methods which avoids punishments as a tool for training dogs. To read more please click here.
