About Me/ Company
Hi! I'm Vicki - I run Dogness dog walking and pet visits. This is a new venture so I don't have many references yet. I aim to offer services from Swaffham to Dereham and everywhere inbetween! As well as offering pet care, I'm also a pet portrait artist, but have been itching to get back into working with dogs and not just painting them, so Dogness was born!
Prices start from:
£10 per hour - 1 dog
£15 per hour - 2 dogs from the same family

Previous Experience
Since moving to Norfolk a year ago, I've been a pet portrait artist, but prior to this I was a Training and Behaviour Advisor for Dogs Trust. I worked for this great charity for nearly 14 years, first as Information Officer, providing info on dog care and welfare to colleagues and members of the public before become a behaviourist, based at the London Head Office. In this role I offered help to the public with their 'behaviourally challenged' dogs, as well as working with dogs in the Rehoming Centres with severe behaviour problems. I've had a lot of experience with dogs with fear and aggression issues (amongst other problems) and have also had dogs all my life - mostly rescues, mostly with problems of their own!
Qualifications & Training
I have a degree in Zoology and Canine Behaviour Qualifications (CBQs) from the Natural Animal Centre. While working for Dogs Trust, I've attended numerous workshops and training courses on dog training and behaviour - all ethically forward thinking and based on positive methods - no punishment or negative reinforcement!
I've also recently gained a pet first aid certificate.
Other Services
As well as dog walking, I offer pet visits for when you can't be there.
This includes dogs, cats and small animals. I'll tend to your pets as per your instructions - feeding, letting out, cleaning out, play, cuddles or just a bit of company!
Prices from £6 for half an hour, £10 for an hour.
